Thanks to the Turbulence Training Belly Off! program, I have started transforming my body into something I can be proud of, not something to hide under lose, baggy clothes.
Last August was the WORST, for the first time in my life, I didn't go swimming with my family in the hotel pool when we were on vacation because I was too embarrassed by my own body. I sat on the balcony of our room watching my family have fun without me and that SUCKED.
How I Lost 17 Pounds in 8 Weeks with Turbulence Training

Maybe you have felt the same way before, or have been in a similar situation. You know how badly you want the fat to go away and the embarrassment to stop. I know I did, so I took action.
That was then, and this is now. With the Turbulence Training program, I've lost 17 pounds in 8 weeks and at least 4 inches off of my waist and chest.
My size 36 pants that I was busting out of are now falling off of me. All of my clothes fit me or are too big on me now, in fact I have to give away one of my favorite suits because it looks like I'm swimming in it.
I've not only taken off inches and pounds, but I'm completely reshaping my body. I now have some definition and tone where once I only had flab. I can actually see the outline of my upper abs peaking out from under my belly as it continues to shrink.
My over all fitness level has improved so much that I now am looking for tougher fitness challenges to work towards. I'll be participating in a 70 mile bike ride to raise money for MS in August and am signing up for a triathlon sprint that takes place in July.
Those are two things I never would have thought I could do physically, but now they don't seem impossible because I'm in the best shape I've been in since I got out of the Navy.
This has had a huge effect on my self-confidence and how I feel about myself overall. I've never been a list or goals guy before, but Turbulence Training has helped me realize these things are important. Because I've lost the weight and achieved each of my goals throughout the program, I've become more confident in myself and that is definitely showing in other aspects of my life as well.
Nutritionally, I've made huge changes in my life. This was an area that I really had to be honest with myself before starting.
Without realizing it had happened (or just ignoring it really), I had become a food-o-holic. I would buy a box of Little Debbies, and if I didn't finish the entire box right then (12 cakes), I'd hide the rest in my car or in the garage so I could get it later.
I'd sneak out just before bed to get one more cake or I'd chug chocolate syrup straight with a milk chaser and hide if my wife or kids started coming downstairs. This would happen several times a week.
This behavior is THE definition of an addict, someone who keeps their addiction a secret by hiding the stuff they're addicted to. And of course, with each box of junk food I wolfed down, there was the ever present diet soda. I would easily drink a 6 pack of diet soda a day and nothing else.
Since starting the program, I've completely eliminated sodas of any type and pretty much any type of refined sugar or processed food. Within the first week, my cravings for chocolate and junk food were gone.
I have learned how to replace the processed food with whole foods, fruits and veggies. The only break I still give myself is 1 square of dark chocolate every few days and chocolate milk after a workout.
All those sodas have been replaced with water. In fact, since January 1st, I've had nothing but water to drink, and one glass of red wine.
Turbulence Training has helped me break out of the rut I had let myself get into. I eat healthy foods, I exercise 4-5 times a week and I'm just having a lot of fun now.
I have more energy to play with my two young boys, I can do work around the house (that equals a happier wife) and not feel exhausted afterwards and I'm a much happier person. I've built habits that will stay with me now for the rest of my life and I can't wait join my family in that hotel pool this coming summer!
Turbulence Training has helped me change my life. It's not a magic pill that fixes everything, but it is amazing how your health effects the rest of your life.
Besides the workouts, Turbulence Training gives me direct access to Craig Ballantyne, the developer of Turbulence Training, through the member forums. Having Craig there, along with hundreds of other active forum members, supporting me and offering insight when I have a question has been an important part of my overall success.
Overall, I couldn't be more happy with the results I'm seeing each week when I look in the mirror. My body is transforming into something I can be proud of when I'm at the pool, playing with my kids or with my wife.
I posted an article a while ago about why I chose Turbulence Training, if you're not a member of Turbulence Training and want to know more, I suggest you read it.
